Keith Dishong is AZMAT's lead guide, route planner and founder of Crooked Raven, our ADV Training Division that teaches motorcycle classes to all levels of riders.    

Since 2007 I've been providing single and multi-day guided tours to some of the most beautiful and historic old west destinations. I'm passionate about the historical storytelling of our state and love to share the richness and color of the old west. As a Master off-road Instructor, as well as having a background as a search and rescue first responder, I'm confident handling situations that may come up on the trail.

Keith is certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) as a Dirtbike and Adventure Bike RiderCoach.

Matt:  Master Instructor, Off-Road Guide, IBA Member

Matt Bayer, aka The Motorcycle Traveler, is AZMAT's Chief of Operations and primary sweep. If your interested in our tours, Matt will be your first (and last) point of contact. 

I grew up in a small town in Kansas and moved to the southwest in the mid 90s. After retiring from federal law enforcement in 2022, I've been able to focus solely on touring the country on two wheels. I instruct several rider classes each year and am a professional demo rider.

Matt is certified by the MSF as a ADV, Basic, Basic 2, Advanced and 3 Wheel RiderCoach.

Tom:  Rider, Racer, Perpetually Sunburnt

Tom is a tour guide and support rider for AZMAT, as well as the secondary RiderCoach at Crooked Raven training classes. He also has great stories!

I began riding dirt trails with the Arizona Trail Riders in 2003 after taking a break to raise a family. I raced enduros and hare scrambles and rode in AMA national dual sport events. These rides have taken me all over the United States to unique places only accessible by motorcycle.

Tom is certified by the MSF as a Dirt Bike and Adventure Bike RiderCoach.

Scott Arkon is AZMAT's Chief Marketing Officer, and the only member with a day job. Scott owns White Hat Marketing, a full service ad agency based in Tucson but spends his days dreaming of leaving the office and riding.. 

I've been riding for over 30 years but was exposed to ADV riding in 2020 and completely fell in love with it. Motocamping and multi-day tours are my jam (as often as I can get away)! I seem to have a gift for finding the worst line on a trail... probably don't follow me blindly. My dream job is having a moto-adv youtube channel that allows me to document my rides, adventures and pay the bills.

Scott is certified by the MSF as a Basic and Basic 2 RiderCoach.
