Crooked Raven Way Point Scramble
The Crooked Raven Waypoint Scramble is a two-day, high-octane GPS scavenger hunt that’ll take you zooming across the southern half of Arizona—and, if you’re feeling wild, into California and New Mexico. With over 700 waypoints to chase down, it’s the ultimate choose-your-own-adventure on two wheels.
We’ve got three levels of fun (or frustration, depending on your mood):
- L1: Paved roads—smooth and easy. Perfect for anyone on any bike, even if it’s your grandma’s Vespa. Worth one point.
- L2: Graded dirt roads—nothing too crazy, but enough to make you feel like a rugged adventurer. Two points here!
- L3: The spicy stuff. Rocky, technical, Jeep-style two-tracks where you’ll probably question your life choices. These bad boys are worth three points because, well, you earned it.
So, fuel up, gear up, and let’s see if you’ve got what it takes to tame the Scramble!

"I just spent two days in Southern Arizona at CrookedRaven adventure bike class. I had a great time and learned lots. Keith does a great job explaining things and spotting what you are doing right and wrong. I feel much more confident on my bike in all kinds of terrain including sand. I got back into riding about 4 years ago. I wish I had taken this class back then. We rode lots of different trails and some sand washes. I still don't enjoy deep sand but I can get through it now. This class Is a bargain and well worth the money."
